"Without Bruises"Book Signing

Sunday I had the opportunity to attend JJ's book signing. Some of you may recognize JJ from being a radio personality on 97.9 the box for many years. JJ is now a full time entrepreneur and has currently been working on promoting her book "Without Bruises". JJ released her book late 2016 and has been receiving raving views ever since. Now, I'm going to be completely honest with y'all. I was super duper late to the event but was able to enjoy the last 45 minutes! I was so surprised because JJ actually remembered me from the National Black Film Festival last month. Which was actually the first time I interviewed her! That made me so happy on the inside :D The event took place in the galleria at such a cute store called Henri Bendel! All the accessories and purses were to die for! They had a raffle towards the end of the event giving away a bag from the store! Which was so cute I must add! The lucky winner ended up being JJ's publicist Erica! Overall the event was super duper cute and although it took place in a store it was still a small intimate setting.The store was actually the perfect size for the event! They handed out mimosas and had cake for guest to celebrate JJ's book! I had the opportunity to chat with JJ more in depth about her book and vision behind the title "Without Bruises".
