Okay, so let's give all thanks to GOD one time for blessing me with the opportunity to attend Complex Con as press. Funny story is last year I applied and got denied access so I was totally shocked that I got a YES this year. Although I was only granted access for myself and not my videographer, I decided to make the best of it.
Complex Con is definitely something I think every sneakerhead, music junkie, artist or anyone that enjoys everything that Complex magazine stands for should attend.
It was definitely a different experience and not what I expected ( not in a bad way). Complex Con gave the vibe of a trade show but a “LIT” trade show with performances. I loved all the booths and different vendors in the exhibit area. From the shoes to the clothes it was all around dope. It kind of reminded me of the sneaker summit that happens in Houston. Sneakerheads were def in the place to get some exclusive and limited edition sneakers. When I was leaving after day 1 I saw a line starting to form for day 2. CRAY! Complex Con is a way to shop for some fly gear, see dope performances AND network. Everyone knows networking is key to success in this industry. It was celebrities and music execs left and right. One of the many execs I saw walking around numerous of times was VP of Roc Nation Lenny Santiago. In addition to the dope performances and shopping experience complex laced us with complex conversations. This is where you were able to sit in on the conversations with different people in the industry from execs, artist, influencers and more.
I think that's what puts the cherry on top and make Complex Con that DOPE.
You get to sit in on these intellectual conversations and learn from people that are really making moves. It's like a convention meets fashion and hip-hop. Yeah, that's what I will call it. McDonald’s also celebrated the kid in us all with its new Buttermilk Crispy Tenders and adult-sized playground games at ComplexCon. Like HOW DOPE! ( Pictures below) In all Complex Con was a dope experience and I am excited about next year! Complex provided the press with photos that we could use so check them out below!

Well thats ALL FOLKS!! COMPLEX CON WAS FUN! If you want to see more about the performances that took place during day 2 visit complex site or @complexcon on Instagram! I decided not to go for day 2 but from what I saw it was LIT!
