Learn To Love The Process

Learning to love the process is one easy yet difficult thing to master when working towards a goal or chasing your dreams. Yes, I said Easy but Difficult. Its one of those easier said than done situations. Often I hear successful people say how important it is to learn to love the process in becoming who you aim to be. Enjoy the struggles, the ups and downs, the uncertainty and all that transpires during your journey to greatness. They say the journey is the best part right? That we should fall in love with the process of becoming greater. How can we learn to love the process you ask? Think positively and focus on the now. Now and the current moment is all we have. The more we focus on the present moment, live in it, and most importantly love it, we will then learn to enjoy the process. Too often when we are on the journey we only think about the result. We have to learn to fall in love with the daily practice, not the individual event. The funny part is that this focus on the process is what will allow you to enjoy the results anyway.

If you want to become significantly better at anything, you have to fall in love with the process of doing it. You have to fall in love with building the identity of someone who does the work, rather than merely dreaming about the results that you want.

Learning to love the process helps you appreciate the result, pay attention and believe it or not the process HUMBLES the F*** out of you. So to end this post fall in love with the process and in love with the grind. Find a passion for what you are doing… and that will help push you to reach your goals. I encourage you to also take a step back and reevaluate your own process. I’ve learned that all results are a byproduct of our everyday actions and habits, and that’s when the passion begins.
